Hayden's Newborn Portraits

I decided it was time to put Tim's fancy camera to some real work, after all its intended purpose is to take portraits of Hayden. Well, easier said than done, keeping him awake was the easy part, I had just fed him and he seemed like he was still hungry, so fingers straight to mouth, then he peed everywhere, but I am sure all you mommas are saying duh Angela, what did you expect, and exactly that, the reason why we decided to take these pics at home instead of dealing with it at a studio. I think the pics are good, and we will try to do some more nice ones later on. I am a little leary of putting pics of my unclothed child on the internet, but they are so cute I have to share them with everyone.

He is so cute. (Bias mother opinion)

I've seen those cute pics of the parents holding the baby's, but he was a little bit big, we maybe will try one with Tim and my hands, if we decide to brave this again. Maybe one of him Sleeping would still be cute.

Such a happy boy.

There's that face again.

Precious baby boy

I am loving this whole sahm stuff, and Tim has morphed his photo trigger happy finger to me and poor Hayden is suffering from it. He is so cute, and just asking to be photographed.
This is Hayden on the blanket that his grandma Sandy made for him.

We took our stork pictures on Sunday and I worked so hard to keep Hayden awake when daddy got home from church, so his eyes would be open in the picture, and then found out we facing directly into the sun, so all of our eyes are almost shut and poor Hayden wasn't even thinking of opening his, maybe we can try again this weekend, if Mrs.Robin will let us keep the stork that long.

Hayden's first stroll, all the way to the mailbox, a few yards, maybe.

He seemed to enjoy it.

I love these little shoes! They look so cute of his little feet.

Mommy's Little Man.

I hope there aren't any flies in our house. I think this is an Ibarra trait, becasue all the Ibarra grandkids sit or sleep with their mouths wide open.

Maybe Hayden is getting a little tired of the constant flashes in his eyes. That is a little bit of a mean face, must get it from his daddy.
Our doctor's office gives everyone a blanket with the baby's name and birthdate on it, I think that is so sweet, and I love the blanket.
I wonder what he is thinking here?

Cousin Christopher finally got to meet baby Hayden. He was sweet and held him and kissed him and then said he was done. Jayson was pretty much not interested in the baby.

My boys doing what they do best! How sweet is that.
Why can't he be this sweet all the time?
O.K., last Saturday I swore I saw Hayden smile like a real, mommy is funny, not I have gas smile, but you are thinking he was 6 days old he can't be really smiling, so I blew it off. Later that night, Tim's mom came to visit and she and my mom both saw him smiling more than once, so that confirmed that I wasn't just the over excited mom, well he has been doing it ever since so now I have some proof, of course you can never catch the really good smiles, but I think these are enough to prove that he can do it. These were taken today, the kid is not even two weeks old yet.

I awoke today to this.......... normal sized feet!!!!! That may not be of any significance to any one else, but those of you who had seen them now how excited I am and how much better I am feeling now that I can walk. I don't think they have been this small in at least 3 months.

Hayden is Here!!!!!

We are so excited that Hayden is here and he is home with us.

Mrs. Becky and Mrs Jennifer threw us a shower on Saturday before Hayden came. It was a very nice shower and we got lots of great gifts.

Here we are bright and early Monday morning January 12, 2009. We are sbout to go to the hospital to have our baby! This is when the nerves staeted setting in, I told Tim about half way there that we should just turn around and go back, but it was too late to turn back.

Our bundle of joy only hours away.

We made it to the hospital and got checked in and into our room really fast, we were both suprised how early we got things going. This picture was just me getting the IV, I had no idea of what was yet to come!
Dialation went really quick, we started at 3, and was at 10 around 2:30 and ready to push, somewhere in there was an epidural, and a second dose of epidural juice, since I could feel the contractions in my stomach. Then at 2:30 we bagan the delivery process, after an hour of pushing, the nurses decided that the epidural needed to be turned off COMPLETELY, that is right, no more pain meds, so after feeling contraction for another hour and a half, that is now two and a half hours of pushing, we find out mr. hayden is turned with his face up and pretty much stuck, so now we go in for a c-section. Then at 5:54 P.M. Hayden makes his arrival!!!!!

Daddy brings him into the nursery for everyone to see.

Daddy also tries his hand at calming Hayden, who was apparently screaming pretty loud.

After a few hours, mommy finally get to hold her new baby boy

Daddy had to get Hayden dressed to go home. I think he would agree it was not the easiest thing he has ever done.

Finally, he was ready to go.

First, we have to buckle him up.

and we get a ride to the front.

and daddy puts the car seat in.

Finally home and Hayden gets a tour of his room
He really likes his swing.
Dad couldn't resist but to show off his packer pride.

First bath.

and mommy couldn't resist but to play with his hair.

Here we are about to take Hayden on his first outing to the doctor. He is all buckled up and ready to go.
