Baby Moon

Tim had some rollover vacation days that had to be used up this month, so I thought what a perfect chance for our baby moon. You know that one last trip where you are past morning sickness, not quite so big and miserable, and don't have to find a babysitter. So we decided to take a small trip to Branson. We saw a few shows and did some shopping. We saw a magician, Kirby vanburch, Dixie Stampede, and Spirit of the dance. We stayed with my former preachers daughter's family, Janet and Nathan. They are so much fun and we had a blast hanging out with them.

Anyone who knows Tim knows he is quite the ham, no shy man in him. However, if you really want to get him stirred up just break out the karoke, he is always ready to perform. I am not sure what exactly he is doing in these pics, but it looks like a air quitar of sorts, or an irish jig, you make the call.

Tim and Janet doing mario racing on the wii. You have to actually run to get your guy to go, by the time it was all said and done, Ithought Tim might have a heart attack, or at least pass out, but it was great exercise.

Tim and Nathan wii boxing.
We enjoyed the fountain/fire show at the landing.

Us by the fountain.

We went and saw Dixie Stampede. This was the first time for both of us, I thought it was good.

Our last show we saw was spirit of the dance.

We ended our vacation on Sunday. We actually were back in town about 1:30 that morining, but we went to the 2008 Olympic All Stars tour at Alltel Arena. This was between church, so we were at both services for those wondering. The show was awesome. I remeber staying up late watching them in Bejing, so it was cool to see them right in front of us.
This is the male co-star from Hannah Montana, I forgot his name, but he was the opening act, and all the little girls were screaming and going crazy, it is funny to think that maybe I used to be like that. Somehow I missed A pic of Nastia Luken, but she was there too.
Shawn Johnson floor routine.
Shawn Johnson balance beam routine.
The Ham brothers.

Ashlyn's Shower

We recently celebrated Ashlyn's upcoming arrival, Like any minute the phone could ring arrival, with a big shower. The shower went great, a great time was had by all.

Mrs. Mariciela's cake was very cute.
Tim had a weird fascination with Ashlyn's new toy squirrel. He for some reason thought it was just the greatest thing Ashlyn recieved. I am sure we will now have to find one for Hayden. Personally, I think the squirell is a little creepy.

The guys were to provide wipes and diapers, so "Tim" provided this lovely wipe case. Yes, I did all the work and he got the credit. Hayden has a matching one in blue and green. I am telling on Robins "Unnamed Male", it was Uncle Tim with the bedazzled wipe case.

We are ready to stroll.

O.K., I am going to go stir crazy trying to get my husband to download the scanner software. However I have to say that he has been busy. He had to put together the stroller even though I put most of it together. Of course he was sleeping so I have no documentation of that, he came in at the very end and put the wheels on. My parents wanted to get us the combo, so I went ahead and ordered it since it is discontinued and didn't know how long it would be available, and it is not available in stores, online only. So here is daddy doing his duty of assembling Hayden's stroller.

Finished Product!!!! Here is his combo, the stroller and car seat, it is so cute, I can't wait to put him in it and take him for a stroll.

Inspiration

Anyone living in Conway better watch out, cause inspiration must be in the water. I just read about Robin and Kibbie's 2 1/2+ jog, wow ladies good job, and then there is marc who is going above and beyond, with his 12 mile run coming up next month, which has inspired Tim to start a workout program, which he has been doing good with, of course I am sure it has nothing to do with a little twinly competition ;) but hey if it works I say it is all good. I am proud to announce I am starting my second week of walking, yes, just walking, but at a fairly good pace, with my mom. Stefanee joined us today and we went almost an hour at full pace, wich sounds easy, but not so much when you are not used to it and not to mention that Hayden is weighing in at a whopping pound these days. Everyone keep up the good work.

Snag

I know I have passed my goal, that is why it is a goal, right? and not a definite. We got a new lap top and have not installed the printer/scanner software yet. I tried to install it and of course it did not work. So, I will make Tim install the software this weekend, and then get busy with the pictures of Hayden.

It's official.....at least for now

We have decided on the name Hayden Carter Joseph Ibarra. I know it is a long name, but the Joseph is a family tribute name to my uncle who died of cancer several years ago. He and his wife picked Daniel and I up for church when we moved to Mena before I could drive, if not for him I can't say for sure I would have got back in church, being so young and not really knowing where to go to church in a new town, it was Bro. Floyd's church and I stayed there till I left for Conway. Joe was a godly man who was to be looked up to and I am honored to give Hayden his name. We won't really actually use it that much it will just be his legal name, and just to know that it is there. When he is in big trouble I will stick to Hayden Carter Ibarra. I do not plan to change the name, but you know how these things go, but I'm pretty sure it is here to stay.
I will try to get the ultrasound pics on this week, my goal is tomorrow or the next day.

Kibbie and Jeff

Here we are at this highly anticipated blessed day. Jeff is getting married. It was a great wedding, with only minor mishaps, such as Bro. Eddie almost catching on fire, and the ring bearer who face planted at the end of a few steps off the stage. It really was a besutiful wedding and we were happy to be able to be there, and Tim was so proud to be a groomsmen. He and Jeff lived together for 8 years and they are practically brothers, and Jeff has spent a few Christmas's with us when he was unable to go home to Colorado. Kibbie is a great woman and we are excited to add her to the gang. Much Congratulations to them. Since this time, the happy couple has made it back from the honeymoon, and are getting settled in, we are so glad they made it back safely and now the real fun can begin.

I can't help but notice in this picture, how much Tim and I look alike. Hhhmmmm, wonder which one of us our baby will look like.
There is the groom and the Ibarra men and Bro. Kevin. Daniel was the best man, while Tim and Marc were groomsmen.
Here we are again. The photographers set up a backdrop in the nursery to take pictures, I thought that was a great idea. Here I am 4 and 3/4 months pregnant. I was so excited my graduation dress still fit.
Happy couple cutting the cake. They took almost all of their pictures before the wedding so there was not much of a wait, and things ran quickly and smoothly. The more I think about it that whole pics before thing really is a good idea, if you are both willing to do it. Their cake looked really nice and tasted good too, but those chocolate cupcakes were to die for. I could only eat half of one the were so rich, but delicious.

Creation Museum

At the end of August we made our way to Kentucky for Jeff and Kibbie's wedding. Tim and Bro. Kevin just had to make a stop at the creation museum so went early to sqeeze it in. It was really good and at the end they even give a salvation message and give a chance to get saved. It was fun and Tim was like a kid in a candy store.

Us next to the big T-Rex.
It looks like this dinosaur is about to eat Tim's head.
They have a beautiful garden and outside area.
This is a Zonkey, I think. It is a donkey and zebra mix. The zorse was cuter, but he wouldn't let me get his picture.

We have base boards

We are getting so close to having the house finished. Nothing like just in time to start on the baby's room, now that we know it's a boy. My dad is an experienced carpenter, he built an entire two story house, so experienced to say the least, so I thought Tim could learn a few things from him. In being a carpenter, he also has all the tools we have needed to complete this project and he has let us borrow them for free. Nice. So a few Saturdays ago He and Tim put up about 80% of our baseboards, I was so excited I almost cired, it has been a pain the last half year with this remodeling, and baseboards are pretty much the last touch.

Tim with a nail gun with I don't know how many psi's of air pressure behind it, is a scary thing, but dad insisted that he try.
Aren't they Beautiful!! Never thought I would be so excited about base boards. We finished the kitchen, baby's room and most of the living room.

Jayson is One

Back in august Jayson turned one year old. I can't believe how fast these kids are growing up. I was also there when he was wheeled into the nursery just like with Christopher. I plan to do the same with baby Ashlyn who will be arriving before we know it. Melissa planned a great party and we even had a little pinata fun.

Some of the little ones didn't quite get the point, but it was fun to watch. All the mommies had to help out a little.
However, Christopher knew exactly what to do and went at it.

Melissa always makes the cutest cakes.

Big brother Chirstopher was more than willing to help Jayson open his presents.

While trying to watch Jayson open presents, Jayson decided he wanted in on some of the cake and ice cream action that the big people were eating. Uncle Tim seemed to be the only one who would share and Jayson kept on coming back for more. We were all telling Tim to stop so he would open his presents, but he didn't, I think he liked being the favorite uncle, even if just for a quick minute. I wonder if he will be so quick to share when it is our child wanting his dinner every night. :)

It's a Boy

We found out yesterday, I am carrying a little man. Tim is so excited, and so am I. There is just something about daddy's little man. Through the whole ultrasound he was on the edge of his seat, actually he was standing, but you get the point. She spent a long time measuring everything and Tim said he was thinking just tell me what it is already, but we had to make sure all was o.k., and it is, Doc say everything is great and right where it needs to be. We really got a good show, I have to admit a few tears ran down my cheeck, a baby truly is one of God's miracles, but he was moving and was not shy about letting us know he is a boy. I will try to scan the ultrasound pics and see if I can get them on, I hope I can because we got some excellent pics and he is so cute. Now we just have to find a boy name, which we don't have, so no, I don't have a name yet. I also know I am behind on everything else, so I will try to catch up some things as well.

Crib Assembly 101

Since the baby is due in January, we are trying to get a head start, because the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays are stressfull enough, not to mention basket season and Kiesha's wedding, without throwing in extra baby stress. So since we already bought the baby's furniture, we decided last night to put the crib together, even though we haven't put up baseboards yet, but they are painted and ready to go, but if you look closely, you can see my nice floor that is finished. Any way, the dresser/changer comes already assembled, yipee. I knew this would be quite interesting. This is the beggining of many more things that daddy will have to put togther.

I call this one, "You put that thing up to this thing?" However Tim does look "in the zone"

After getting one and a half sides done, I noticed a big warning sticker in chinese that would be on the outside, and we just couldn't have that, so we had to take both pieces apart, and start all over. Here we have two sides and a back, it's beggining to look good. That is the dresser in the background, I forgot to take a picture of it.

Daddy adding some finishing touches. I did help a lot, but there was no one there to take a picture of me helping, and tim would not let me go search for the tripod.

Here it is, our bueatiful new crib, it is so cute, I really love it. You can't really tell, but it is cherry and matches the floors pretty good.

Some finishing touches and we are good to go. I couldn't resist but to put the stuff in it, it looked so sad all alone with nothing on it. I just got to excited. We are doing Raggedy ann and andy, I found some old pictures and dolls I had from when I was a baby, and decided to give them life again. Then I found out they had a bedding set, and I was sold. They discontinued the bedding set the year Tim and I got married, and I was so upset. On ebay it is really expensive and used and all that. My mom found the entire bedding set at a garage sale, sadly, the lady had lost her baby and decided to do something different, so we got all of it for $25, and she had never used it, and was glad that someone was really excited about finding it and was going to use it, that was so meant to be, and it can be boy or girl so we can get things ready now.
