I know what you are thinking, Hayden's First Christmas, what, what about his first Thanksgiving, well that will be in a few weekends, but for now I am working very hard to have a very special First Christmas. Such as scouring the internet for the perfect stocking, which I have yet to find, $45 for a silver engraved ornament from Things Remebered(our wallets are ssssooooo glad he doesn't have to have a silver engraved ornament every year from Things Remebererd!!) thinking about presents, and decorations. We now have one thing to cross of the list, Hayden's First Christmas Pictures, wich were done Saturday. It was a little hard to get "in the spirit" before even having turkey and dressing, but it didn't take long and I think they turned out great. Hayden didn't care one way or another. I am so ready for his First Christmas, and kinda sad that it is almost here, and then it will be over, then on to first Birthday!!!! :) I love this pic he looks so adorable.

Hayden's First Halloween
I had to come back and add this one cause the face is cracking me up!! He really was not happy with this situation.
This is after. I have no idea why, but at the pumpkin patch he like flipped out and wanted nothing to do with the pumpkins.

What's New
There are a few new things going on aroung here. First, Hayden is pulling up and cruising on EVERYTHING. He can even stand for a few seconds on his own. He is scaring me to death and has fell a few times, but gets right up and keeps on moving. As you can see his pants are a little big. Most of his fall clothes are 9-12 mo. (his actual age) but he wears 6 mo.
This is what I have found after a few of his morning naps. Some how he has figured out how to remove his pj pants.

OUR First Trauma!!
So now that I have wiped away all of OUR tears, Hayden had his first traumatic experience today (I'm sure it was more traumatic for me than him) He woke up early from his morning nap, and Joshua still had about 30 min. left for his nap. I had noticed that our employers had got some pumpkins and mums, and I just so happen to have overalls for Hayden to wear today, how cute of a pic would that be. So we went to the front porch to "look" at the pumpkins and flowers. Hayden liked them so much that I couldn't even get him to look at me, so I gave up and joined beside him to look at them. This is what I got.
A goose egg, and some scratches. I believe he will be fine and he is playing like nothing happened, like scaring mommy to death!!!! And the best part, his 9 mo. check up is Wed. So hopefully they are....um....understanding. I seriously have never freaked out like that in my life. I was proud though that I took control of the situation, and stayed some what calm.

Big Boy
Hayden is growing up so fast so I decided to do a little recap of some milestones that happen this summer. Since this, Hayden is crawling all over, pulling up, and doing some cruising, and we had to lower his bead. He really keeps me on my toes, but I am loving every minute of it!
For my #? birthday, haha just kidding, it was my 24th, I will say the # since I am younger than most the people I hang out with, and of course my husband, Love you guys :) I decided to see what all the hype was about the free birthday chocolate mess at Marketplace. WOW, it was amazing. Hayden was eyeing it the whole time, of course I didn't allow him to have any despite Tim's pleading that it would "make him happy" ha! of course it would.
Daddy also set up some candy bars and cards in Hayden's crib, and then sat him up in it. What a great gift, the baby, of course!! The candy bars weren't bad either ;) He bought me an adorable card "from Hayden" and even let him scribble in it, it was so cute, What a great first birthday as a mommy. I think he might have inherited him mommy's sweet teeth.
Hayden has been in his big boy car seat for a while now. He liked it at first, but he starting to get where he will cry when I strap him in, and he just wants to stand up in it, and when you take him out he just reaches for you like you can't get him out fast enough, but I love his seat. It is a Britax Decathalon and grandma and grandpa Bullock contributed to the cost for my birthday, that is right my birthday, but I am glad I sprung for a nice seat and I got a really good deal on it.
When we are at home, Hayden now eats his meals in his booster seat, he really does like it and I do too. We had to go with one that straps to the chair becasue we really don't have room for a high chair.
